For the 2025/26 school year the teacher pay scale begins at BS, Step 2, $45,692 and ends at MS+45, Step 13, $76,845. 2025/26 is a negotiations year for the Blackduck Education Assn. Salaries for teachers have mandatory deductions for Minnesota Teachers Retirement, unless the teacher is an annuitant in the State of Minnesota. Full-time teachers, .71 FTE and higher, will receive full-time benefits under the Teacher Master Agreement. Part-time teachers will receive pro-rated benefits if they meet criteria to participate in a particular benefit. An annual 403(b) match is available upon tenure. Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life and long-term disability insurance, are available through the employer for full-time teachers.

Fluent Ojibwe speaker preferred, experience working with Native students and families. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Position Overview: The Ojibwe Language and Culture teacher will plan, organize, implement, and evaluate classroom instruction that facilitates learning to speak and understand the Ojibwe language and develop student’s knowledge and understanding of culture, history, art, and values, including The 7 Grandfather Teachings, Work with OLC staff to develop the K12 OLC language curriculum, Integrate Ojibwe Language and Culture into Blackduck School.

Blackduck Public School is seeking Substitute Bus Drivers for immediate placement on the sub roster. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol testing requirements. Possessing a CDL endorsement for school buses is a plus, but applicants would be trained upon taking and passing the written CDL test. The rate of pay for all substitute driving is $28.34 per hour.
