All classrooms at Blackduck Public Schools are equipped with an interactive whiteboard, LCD projector or flat panel, and classroom audio system.
Kindergarten: The Kindergarten classrooms share a cart of 24 iPad tablets. Students occasionally use Chromebooks for testing, intervention or Title 1 services.
1st Grade: The first grade classrooms share a cart of 30 iPad tablets. Students occasionally use Chromebooks for testing, intervention or Title 1 services.
Blackduck Public School is 1:1 Chromebook in grades 2 through 12, meaning that each student has a Chromebook assigned to her/him.
2nd Grade - 6th Grade: Each student is issued a Chromebook which is designated for their use. The devices are stored in a secure charging cart in the classroom.
7th Grade - 12th Grade: Each student is issued a Chromebook which is designated for their use, as well as a protective bag intended to be used for transporting the Chromebook. The Chromebooks travel back and forth between home and school each day as needed for schoolwork. At the high school level, Blackduck also offers three computer labs. A Windows 10 computer lab is used in the business program. Another Windows 10 lab is used in the Robotics and Building Trades programs. An iMac lab is used for graphic design, video production and computer coding classes.
