Students of the Week

Closing out our Student of the Week honors for the 2025-2026 school year, are  
​Wade Lamm, Angel Christianson , Deizhanay Lopez and Allisyn Miller.

Junior Wade Lamm is the Blackduck High School Student of the Week for his exceptional work
and attitude in American Literature. Wade is active in Robotics, FFA, and Track, which pulls him
out of class quite often, but he is a student who recognizes the importance of also keeping up
with his classes. He always does work outside of class hours and turns assignments in on time.
He is driven to succeed and often comes out on top, even on tests that he missed the instruction
time on. I think he is a quality young man and a credit to Blackduck High School.

Angel Christianson is this week’s Blackduck High School Student of the Week for her
outstanding work on the 2025-2026 Black Quill Yearbook. Angel is very artistic and that
ability has really showed well with her work in Yearbook Class. She quickly grasped the
software and design work and always did a superior job on the pages she designed for
the yearbook. Angel is on the shy side, but she came out of her shell to be the number
one salesperson when the class walked all over Blackduck recruiting businesses to
advertise in the 2026 Yearbook. Congratulations, Angel!

“Deizhanay gives her best every day, said her 4 th
grade teacher, Dawn Helberg. “She comes in with a smile and willingness to do whatever
assignment is given to her. She has a sense of humor that makes me smile and laugh. Deizhanay
is a bright girl who is going to go far in life!”

Allisyn Miller is this week’s Blackduck Elementary Student of the Week. “Allisyn always gets
all of her work completed on time,” said her teacher, Meeghen Nelson. “She’s a very avid reader!
She is a very polite and kind-hearted girl who works great with any person I pair her with.
Allisyn plans ahead with everything academic.”
