Congratulations to our Senior High Band and Choir Ensemble Participants! We are proud of you!
On Wednesday, February 25th, 27 band and choir students attended Section 8A Small Ensemble contest in Bagley. Students are judged and receive a score based on their performance. A score of 35-40 receives a superior and a medal. For an excellent rating of 28-34 points, they receive a certificate of excellence. For nearly all instrumentalists, this was their first time attending the contest. Three instrumental ensembles took home Excellent ratings, and three instrumental ensembles took home Superior ratings, with two of the groups receiving a full 40/40 score! Four vocal ensembles performed, and all four ensembles received Superior ratings!

THE SENIORS CELEBRATE WITH PIZZA
The BHS seniors celebrated their food drive win with pizza and a movie on December 22nd . The seniors brought in 158 boxes of food for the boxed food drive to benefit the Blackduck Community Food Shelf. The entire school collected food throughout the month of December. The seniors won the high school drive and the fourth grade won in the elementary.
