Please Help to Keep our school and businesses open! If you must go out, please wear a mask and keep a “social distance” which means at least six feet away from each other. This will help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep everyone healthy! Please continue to support our local businesses but be thoughtful about how you do that. We want to keep everyone, students and staff, healthy and back in school!!
Minnesota County COVID-19 Map
The first day of school will be September 8.
Elementary students will attend in-person, with every student attending school as if this is a regular school year.
High School students will attend school every other day in a Hybrid form of Learning. Students will be placed in two groups, A or B. Group A will attend Tuesdays and Thursdays. Group B will attend Wednesdays and Fridays. Students will be expected to complete Distance Learning assignments on the days they are not physically in school. Group assignments will keep families in the same group and be sent out in the welcome back-to-school mailings.
The use of face coverings [masks] will be required by all persons in Blackduck Public School buildings and on buses, unless a certified medical exemption form is completed and provided to the district.
Any changes in these learning scenarios will depend on trends of local COVID-19 outbreaks and will be announced well in advance. Please see the District's Framework Document for Back-to-school Planning for more information.
